Biography

Straight Against Fall is a metal and hardcore band formed between Porto and Braga in 2023. The sound is born from the clash of two cultures, Portugal and Brazil, and refuses to be tied to a single subgenre.

Every song reflects that mixture: modern metal, metalcore, deathcore, thrash, punk, grunge, classic rock and even Portuguese guitar and Fado. The lyrics come from personal experience, from immigrant life to saudade, love, hate and loneliness.

After the debut EP "Stronger Than Your Hate [Ruthless]" came "Echoes of Chaos", released by Psywar Records in August 2026. Next comes the road: Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands and France are on the map.

Musical style

Straight Against Fall does not limit itself to a single subgenre. The band fuses modern metal, metalcore, deathcore, thrash, punk, grunge and classic rock in an eclectic, boundary-breaking approach.

What makes it unique is how it absorbs distinct cultural influences, from the aggression of Brazilian metal to melodic and traditional Portuguese elements, including references to Fado. Every song is a different experience: metal without limits, pure, visceral and authentic.
